About Us

We here at H.P. Computer Services started from humble beginnings. Tim Hammond is the lead tech of the company while David Parks is the business manager. The two have been friends since middle school. Dave has been an entrepreneur since he graduated from high school. Tim went to DeVry University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Technology.

To give a brief background of Tim's qualifications. He has worked with the following operating systems: Mac OS 7.5 - X, DOS, Windows 3.1, 95/98, NT 4.0 Workstation and Server, Windows 2000 Pro and Adv. Server, multiple distributions of Linux including: Mandrake, Redhat, Slackware, and Gentoo. He is very experienced in hardware and troubleshooting. He worked at DeVry where he maintained 40+ computers for labs and repairs. He also worked at a middle school where he supported about 200 computers and about 650+ user accounts.

Upon David's graduation he expanded his father's, Wilburn Parks, existing snow and ice management business to offer a full service grounds management services. David is now the President/CEO of Parks Companies which is located in Troy, Michigan. H.P. Computer Services was started in September 2005 when Tim moved back to Michigan from Vermont. Together Dave and Tim provide all they have to make sure that you the customer receive the highest quality service at the most competitive price.
